It is a 2003 S10 - Extended Cab "Xtreme" addition.
I chose this truck because of the low miles (60,000) and the way it was taken care of by the previous owner. I also wanted a project truck that I could take of. I am not a mechanic. I destroy more motors and body panels than I can fix.
I wanted something I could take care of - but I also wanted something that looked nostalgic. Plus, it had to be a truck.
This truck started in November of 2008. I was looking for a project truck that I could convert to electrical. Needless to say, this is still a gas hog - but we are planning to convert.
Starting in 2011, PlugNPlay is planning their first hot rod blitz build. This truck is on the list - but may not be their first project.
